Here is the step-by-step virtual makeover for Catherine (created with Photoshop on the same picture).
Catherine asked me for a natural and chic evening look.
Here is the “before” picture sent by Catherine with no makeup:
Step 1: Foundation
Catherine only needs a BB Cream or a very light translucent foundation.
Step 2: Concealer
A soft illuminating concealer would be enough. Catherine doesn’t have a lot of imperfections.
Step 3: Eyeshadow
I chose 3 warm shades: ivory (eyebrow bone), peach-coral (eyelid) and a soft golden bronze (outer corner). These shades are perfect to enhance Catherine’s blue eyes.
Step 4: Eyeliner and kohl pencil
A brown eyeliner along the upper lash line is perfect for this kind of makeup. And because Catherine has the right eyes shape and asked me for an evening look, I highly recommend a black kohl pencil.
Step 5: Eyebrow makeup
I would use a eyebrow pencil for blonds or a light eyebrow powder. Her natural eyebrows are a bit too thin and too sparse, so this step would make a big difference. It will enhance her eyes.
Step 6: Mascara
A volumizing black mascara would be perfect for this evening look, as Catherine seems to already have long lashes. I would apply it only on the upper lashes.
Step 7: Blush
For a healthy glow, a soft coppery blush should be applied on the cheek bones.
Step 8: Gloss or Lipstick
If Catherine wants a natural evening look, she can choose a warm nude gloss.
If she wants a chic and sophisticated evening look, she can choose a pearly bronze lipstick.
Here are the “before” and “after” pictures. Catherine asked me for an evening look, so I decided to replace her t-shirt for a chic satiny dress just for fun as well as earrings.
Catherine, you are so pretty and ready for your party!
