I just got some products of the new amazing M.A.C Collection: Archie’s Girls!!! I’m soooo excited!
We almost all know the iconic personas in the popular Archie comics! I use to read them when I was young.
Poor Archie! Always caught in a love triangle between Betty and Veronica. On one side, Betty, the sweet and romantic blond girl next door. On the other, Veronica, the rich, spoiled and vain brunette.
These very feminine and ravishing rivals have inspired a complete makeup color collection!
Betty: soft and innocent shades.
Veronica: deep and seductive tones. Obviously! 😉
Here are the eye and face products from Betty and Veronica Collections.
Eyes
The first palette is Caramel Sundae from Betty collection. The four shades are Caramel Sundae, Cheryl Chic, Dreammaker and Showstopper. The second palette is Spoiled Rich, from the Veronica collection. The four shades are Ron Ron Run, Spoiled Rich, Pin-Up Purple and Gravel. The collection also features 2 mascaras, 4 eye pencils (Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner) and 4 pigments (loose powder pur pigments – powder eyeshadows).
I tried the Veronica black-purple pigment : Black Poodle! It’s an intense black with purple reflects. Very nice! Amazing for a Smoky Eye!
Face
The collection includes 2 blushes (left for Betty and right for Veronica) as well as 2 Pearlmatte Face Powders (left for Betty and right for Veronica). I tried the Veronica Pearlmatte Face Powder called Veronica’s Blush.
We can use the light shade as an highlighter and the dark one for specific zones, or the easiest way: we can blend the two shades to get a nice soft pink with a soft pearl finish.
Lips
We can choose between 6 lipsticks and 6 glosses (3 lipsticks and 3 glosses for each Archie’s Girl).
I tried one of the Betty Lipsticks, Lustre Lipstick in Girl Next Door, a very light pink. The best shade for Betty! I like this natural shade. A bit light for me, but for a blond, it’s perfect.
Nails
There are 4 limited-edition Nail Lacquer shades inspired by Betty (left) and Veronica (right):
Accessories
And finally, a series of collectible, heart-inspired accessories in glossy white faux-patent, featuring the original faces of Archie, Betty and Veronica. Love them all!
I got the Young Hearts Mirror with it’s own pouch.
